Nobility Care Australia

An NDIS provider's public website, where accessibility is enforced by a script rather than promised in a paragraph.

Overview

Nobility Care Australia is a registered NDIS provider based in New South Wales. The site presents sixteen disability support services, from supported independent living and specialised disability accommodation through to community nursing and support coordination, each on its own page.

Accessibility is treated as a build constraint rather than an intention. The site ships three themes — light, dark and high-contrast — switched through an AccessibilityProvider, and a contrast audit script checks every pairing across all three. It exits with a failure code, so a regression breaks the build rather than reaching a user.

Behind the public site sits an admin area covering blog posts and subtopics, news, FAQs, reviews, SIL vacancies, team profiles and media assets — so the organisation maintains its own content.

The brief

Gaganpreet Singh, Director of Nobility Care Australia, had looked at the website builders and decided against them. A service like that would have produced something that worked and looked like everyone else's, and for a provider asking families to trust them with care, that was the wrong first impression. So he commissioned a custom build instead. He brought the requirements — which pages, and what each one had to do — and everything else was decided together: the palette, how the site should feel, what a visitor should come away with. It was built as a Next.js application on a modern stack rather than a set of static pages, and it has kept being improved since launch instead of being handed over and left alone.
