SimetrixDT

Technical depth for an engineering audience, without the consulting-firm template.

Overview

SimetrixDT sells industrial digital technology: digital twin simulation, SCADA visualisation, optimisation and cybersecurity. The site presents each of those as its own solution area, alongside industries served, partner platforms and a use-case library.

An insights section carries documentation and news, with PDFs rendered in the page rather than handed off to the browser's viewer. Content is authored through an admin CMS covering posts, use cases, documentation, media, audit reports and an updates log.

A WebGL background built with Three.js and react-three-fiber carries the technical register, with GSAP and react-spring handling motion.

The brief

Milan Bawa, on SimetrixDT's management team, wanted a business site that felt smooth, consistent and professional — and for an engineering firm selling digital twin simulation, SCADA visualisation and OT cybersecurity, "professional" is doing specific work. The audience is technical. A site that looks like a template undercuts the claim before anyone reads a word of it.

So consistency was the brief rather than a by-product of it: one visual system applied across four solution areas, an industries section, partner platforms and a use-case library, with nothing left looking like it was added later.

Behind the public pages it runs more than a brochure does — an auth system, a blog, and an enquiry flow where a submitted form becomes a document and a mail service picks it up and notifies the owner directly.

What it does
  • 45 routes
  • Four solution areas: digital twin simulation, SCADA visualisation, optimisation, cybersecurity
  • Use-case library with individual detail pages
  • Documentation section with in-page PDF rendering via react-pdf
  • Admin CMS for posts, use cases, documentation, media, audit reports and updates
  • Markdown authoring through a rich editor
  • Three.js WebGL background
  • GSAP and react-spring motion
  • Structured metadata via next-seo, observability via next-axiom
  • Authentication, and an enquiry flow that writes to Firestore and triggers an email to the owner
